Roller Dryer

Drying plays an important role in the potato processing, it allows you to condition the potatoes for storage over a certain period of time after washing. The fast and efficient removal of excessive water prevents, for example the rotting processes.

In the Roller Dryer, the wet potatoes are propelled forwards in continuous supply mode over rotating rollers covered with synthetic felt. The extremely efficient, special high-performance synthetic felt on the rollers absorbs the moisture, which is then pressed out again by counter-pressure rollers fitted on the lower side of the dryer.
